I suppose i'm one of the few who actually LIKE this villian... Oh well... Here's a wallpaper of him...

Decided to try that "broken CRT TV" look again and I really like it

EDIT [2:22 PM GMT +1]: Edited it because I actually uploaded it 2 minutes before the bus left outside of my house and I don't think I had a long enough look at it to call it "done"... It's not entirely so now either but at least it's better now

I like this villain too. A lot. Sure, I like the personality of Discord the most, but none of the previous antagonists was shown as evil and scary as Sombra.
Sombra didn't need any character development. In fact, I think more character development would have made him... More boring. He never speaks, why would he? He's an evil villain who doesn't care about other ponies and just wants to take over the world. Why would he take a moment to have a chat with any of his enemies?
Everyone saying that the season premiere and the villain sucked need to realise this.

Love that wallpaper by the way. You're awesome, keep being awesome.

Thanks for the feedback and the points you're making are pretty much exactly how I feel about it too.

I think people got mislead by the pics of him that started popping up a few months before the premiere... I mean yes, at first glance, what kind of a freakin pony does he even look like, right? But I really liked his "shade form", that's pretty much what made him a good villian to me, he's mysterious and absolutely careless about anything other than bringing evil upon ponies.

Nightmare Moon, Discord and Chrysalis made their personalities clear while Sombra didn't. Maybe it was confusing to see such a sudden change in the types of villians and that's what drove people to dislike him. But again, people were expecting the episodes to be bad before they even aired. No wonder they didn't have a positive view on it. That's one of the things i've learnt from watching movies actually, that it's better to have NO expectations at all and just enjoy it for what it's worth rather than trying to point out what you've seen or heard about it before you started watching.

Welp, those were my two cents lol. Thanks for the feedback again :3
